I don’t really have an essay to write on the subject yet. I just wanted to use this Berger & Wyse comic. I could, of course, write something quite long on the subject, but for the moment I will simply say this: If you are considering a doctoral program and becoming a faculty member, do it because you love it.
I am sure many of my readers are familiar with Jesus and Mo. This is a comic by one or more atheists lampooning Jesus/Christianity and Muhammed/Islam. I don’t agree, obviously, with the sentiment of the cartoon, but given the recent discussion I thought it worth saying. And it wouldn’t been “everyone a goat” it would be a whole lotta goats, for each of us.
