Honestly, I’m not sure I really get this one
Since Gen 1 tells of the creation of man and woman at the same time and then in Gen 2 we have man created first followed by the woman, there arose during the Babylonian period (and later) a Jewish tradition that the first woman was named Lilith and that she refused to be subordinate to the man. Thus God created a second woman. In this comic, Woman 2.0.
(I have to say, I highly doubt that Thaves, especially given that he died earlier this year, who is writing this strip now?, is/was aware of this tradition.)
Ah I see now. This makes sense to me now in the context of the Lillith refernce.
