If he won’t go to twitter let’s bring twitter to Jim!

Jeremy has an excellent idea.

Tweet straight from Jim West’s blog

I already wrote about this over the weekend, but now I’m just having too much fun with it.  Jim wrote another anti-twitter post this morning.  So, I went over and tweeted his post directly from his own blog.  I think it would be extraordinarily funny for everyone to go over and tweet the post to see how many tweets we could get for Jim’s anti-twitter blog post directly from his own blog.  In fact, Twitter is so seamlessly integrated into Jim’s blog that you don’t even have to tweet his post.  You can click Tweet then erase the URL and post title and just do all of your regular tweets straight from Zwinglius Redivivus.

Comic Caption Contest: Damned if you do…

What do you think they are discussing?

UPDATE: I am leaning towards James’. Any votes? I have to say that in the case the original caption was quite good:

Love the work you’ve been doing with the church recently.

Indiana Jones and the Manger of Stone

One of our graduate students sent this along (his own creation). I think there is a deeper theological truth here than first meets the eye. It affirms the long suppressed True Gospel of Indy that states, “A lo! This day is born to you a savior. This savior is but the corporeal form of The Secret that must be stolen, taken with great care and daring, then clutched to one’s bosom. There will be those who will seek to take it from you, but you must reject them, saying, ‘It belongs in a museum! The museum of the heart.’”

Podcast: Mooseltoe, a Christmas children’s book

I posted this the last few years and thought it worth sharing again. It is a fun story, even for those dads lacking in facial hair.

I share parts of a fun Christmas story for kids. Mooseltoe by Margie Palatini, Henry Cole (Illustrator). Oops! I just realized I said, “Welcome to a special podcast from Targuman.COM.” This is Targuman.org, of course. :-) Merry Christmas!

Comic Caption Contest: God’s Wife

UPDATE: Just another day (or so) on the competition. My brother’s is pretty good and Aaron is very clever, but I am liking Brooke’s the best so far. What is your caption?

And we have a winner! Brooke I am not sure what I have to offer (do you like Phil Keaggy?) but I am sure we can work something out.

Last week’s was so successful let’s try it again! I can’t promise a prize this time, but you never know!
