I just bought the new U2 album No Line On The Horizon (pretty good, but not great) and I thought I would check iTunes to see just how many albums I actually have. The total? 999 Makes me want to buy just one more album (or track, actually, since iTunes simply records each song’s album as an “album” even if I only have one track).

If we are using the number at the bottom of the music library, I am at:
7278 items, 22.4 days, 51.29 GB
Then you have me beat, sir. I am at 5643 items, 16.5 days, 24.48 GB. But tell me, do you have iTunes keep only x number of podcasts or do you keep them all?
Actually, how did you get it to show “albums?” Mine just shows items (although I can get it to tell me that it is 22:11:20:46 total time)
Select “View” as “Grid” and then select Albums.
Podcasts is a different count. That is at 108 podcasts, 3282 episodes, for 62.8 days, 75.42 GB.
Oh! So it is. Mine is 232 items, 5.5 days, 5.87 GB. (I have it set to only keep the 5 most recent.)
Ahhh 1280 albums. And thanks.
