I’ve only ever seen “Rudolph” from your list! It’s an ok movie. Come to think of it, I really don’t have a favorite Christmas movie. So I’ll say Rudolph just for the heck of it.
Doctor Who Christmas Specials: Christmas Invasion (2005), Runaway Bride (2006) and Voyage of the Damned (2007). Admittedly the third one hasn’t been broadcast yet, but it looks fab — and it has Kylie in it. What’s not to like? 🙂
Trading Places with Eddie Murphy! Best Christmas movie ever
Mark, having just discovered the new Dr. Who on the plane out to California (thanks to my brother!) and having been an old Dr. Who fan, I will agree that they must be good even without having seen them! But it seems they are all too new to be a “traditional” Christmas program. Did I not make that a criteria? Maybe I should have.
Oh, and The Grinch. That should probably be there. The original, not the Carey one.
White Christmas. Definitely more of a Christmas movie than Holiday Inn, even though the song was in Holiday Inn first.
Miracle on 34th Street. (The 1947 original with Maureen O’Hara, of course). You can’t top the courtroom scene where they cover the judge with all the letters addressed to Santa Claus.
A Christmas Story. Classic, dysfunctional Christmas fun!
I would have to go with Holiday Inn, although A Christmas Story comes in a close second.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas”
It’s got Linus reciting Luke. There is no better 2 minutes of Christmas television.
I can’t believe “A Charlie Brown Christmas” wasn’t on the list, either. It was on TV last night, and the three of us watched it together. It’s such a wonderful show.
