Tobit in a Stained Glass Window

A picture of a window in the Duke Humfrey’s Library in the Bodleian Library. You can see the Radcliffe Camera and the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin in the background of the pane on the left. On the right, I do not know who the man is in the middle, but the rest of the image contains scenes from Tobit. I love this. At some point in the future, I would like to write something about how Frederick Buechner’s On the Road with the Archangel and how it is a kind of Targum of Tobit. In the meantime, enjoy this image and let me know if you know who is the Man in the Middle.
