Next Sunday, January 12th Penn State Soccer will be putting on the Second Annual Mack Brady Youth Clinic for K-8 boys and girls. Players from the PSU men’s team will be present and it should be a great event.
- 4:30 in Holuba Hall at Penn State’s University Park Campus.
- FREE but donations for the Mack Brady Soccer Fund will be gratefully accepted at the event or online http://givenow.psu.edu/MackBrady. The fund supports the Penn State Men’s Soccer goalkeeping program.
- Mack Brady Soccer Fund t-shirts and now baseball hats will be on sale as well.
- IMPORTANT: “All parents of clinic participants MUST fill out a 2014 Penn State Clinic Medial Treatment Authorization form in order to take part. Also, all participants should be dressed for soccer activity and bring their own soccer balls.” The form can be filled out at the clinic or downloaded from the site:http://www.gopsusports.com/sports/m-soccer/spec-rel/010614aaa.html
Last year PSU Men and Women SOC put this together just two week’s after Mack’s death. It was such a wonderful time and since Mack’s birthday is January 16th it is a chance to celebrate his birthday as well.
Please join us if you can!
**Parking for Mack Brady Youth Soccer Clinic: Due to the sold out Penn State men’s ice hockey game at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday in Pegula Ice Arena, limited parking will be available near Holuba Hall. Parents/guardians of clinic participants are asked to park in the lower portion of Orange-F parking lot adjacent to Holuba Hall on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow parking will be available in Orange-C parking lot on the other side of the old Greenburg Ice Pavilion. Parents/guardians are also advised to park and stay with their children during the clinic as traffic will be very high in this area after the clinic due to ticketed ice hockey patrons arriving for their game and drop-off/pick-up areas may not be available.
Please note that the upper portion of Orange-F as well as the parking lots at Wagner and Shields Buildings are all held for game day event permit parking only. In addition, there will be a $5.00 event parking fee charged for men’s ice hockey games in Stadium West and Jordan East. Please visit www.GoPSUsports.com for the varsity event schedules andwww.transportation.psu.edu/transportation/parking for all campus parking information.
