Lord Jesus Christ, we commend to you our brother, our son, Mack, who was reborn by water and the Spirit in Holy Baptism. Grant that his death may recall to us your victory over death, and be an occasion for us to renew our trust in your Father’s love. Give us, we pray, the faith to follow where you have led the way; and where you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, to the ages of ages. Amen.

I don’t have any words but only want you to know that I am thinking of your family and your son though I have never met him. May light perpetual shine upon him.
What a beautiful child. May the peace of God comfort you all.
What a beautiful child, indeed. As a stranger, but a Dad, I wept hard this morning considering your incalculable loss. May His glory shine down upon you in the midst of your deep sorrow. Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
May God’s peace fill the void left by the loss of your adorable son who rests now with his Creator.

Christian, ran across your story from Peter Enns. My wife Karen and I suffered a similar sudden loss in 2001 when our daughter Megan died in a car crash on Easter Sunday morning. Our lives have never been the same. If you need to talk at all about how God helped us through, please just find me on FB at “treesoflifedude Richie Merritt” or rich@lvlegacy.org. Megan’s birthday was 8/28 and our life passage from that point on has been Romans 8;28. It is an all in passage of Trust! You either believe it or you don’t and if you do.., then all of these wordly situations that break our hearts will somehow, some way, some day be made for good! Hang tough bro! Praying for you and your family!
Peace and One Love,
Richie Merritt

I am praying that the nearness of God would give you courage.
Praying for you, especially today!

When i pray the Our Father today, it will be that your “How long O Lord” would be shortened by “thy Kingdome come”.
