Belated photo posting: Mardi Gras

And not just a week late, these are from 2006, our last Mardi Gras in NOLA. This was also the first Mardi Gras after Katrina, so if you head over the photo set you will see people dressed with blue tarps (the house covering of choice provided by FEMA) and “vanilla extract” after Nagin’s comments about NOLA being a chocolate city (Mardi Gras Costume photo set).
