[...] This came up in the podcast we did among fellow bibliobloggers at SBL. We were discussing Kevin Wilson’s BibleWiki project at BlueCord.org and several of us have done dozens (well, a lot anyway) of little articles for Bible dictionaries and wondered how “original” we needed to be with our 3 sentence entry on “Zuzim” to make it different from an earlier published article in, say, Eerdman’s Bible Dictionary.
[...] In the field of biblical studies November is known for the annual meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature. Many bloggers posted on the conference — whether something about their approach to the meetings, their presentations, their reflections after the conference was over. See Jim West’s thorough coverage of posts in his Biblical Studies Carnival post. Worthy of mention, however, are Danny Zacharias’s “Confessions of a SBL Virgin” (see also Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4) at Deinde and the “biblioblogger” podcast from SBL over at Targuman.
Thanks Tyler! I know you had me on your list. I just didn't want to single anyone out. :-)

BTW, I am curious about the counts. You say you have 400 a day. Ii have been using Google Analytics and it says I have 30-60 but when I check my service provider it tells me I have had this week, for example, 300 unique hits per day. Do you (or anyone else) know which is more accurate?

Thanks for bringing the mics and all. It was great to do the podcast.

And BTW, you've been on my blogroll for a while already!

Have a happy thanksgiving.

I can promise you that, in spite of having to pack it on the plane, I will bring the mics! (We were able to drive and thus able to bring family on the trip as well as other toyls.)
