A blog post about not blogging and Photo: Spring Daffodils

This time they are in our yard. I still don’t have enough time to blog properly and there is a lot going on that I would take note of (see, for example, Chris Heard’s series on Expelled here and here). And AKMA posts one of my favorite Dorothy L. Sayers quotes which I spotted via Jim West. Be sure to follow AKMA’s links back to Fred Sanders. I, for one, think that Sayers had one of the best theological minds amongst the Inklings, even if she denied it. I look forward to Laura Simmons’ book, Creed without Chaos: Exploring Theology in the Writings of Dorothy L. Sayers.

You would be ashamed to know as little about internal combustion as you know about Christian beliefs. I admit, you can practise Christianity without knowing much theology, just as you can drive a car without knowing much about internal combustion. But when something breaks down in the car, you go humbly to the man who understands the works; whereas if something goes wrong with religion, you merely throw the works away and tell the theologian he is a liar.

In the meantime, here are a few pics I took while playing with the kids in the backyard.
