What is your favorite Da Vinci Code Blooper?

Here is mine (not to mention the surrounding drivel of this paragraph):

“The Jewish tetragrammaton YHWH—the sacred name of God—is in fact derived from Jehovah, an androgynous physical union between the masculine Jah and the pre-Hebraic name for Eve, Havah” (p.309, DVC).

Of course most readers of this blog will know that this is utter tripe and that Jehovah arose out of a misguided attempt to pronounce the tetragrammaton יהוה because the Hebrew text was pointed with the vowels for אֲדֹנָ֤י adonai.

Runner up:

All descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals in this novel are accurate. (p. 1, DVC, emphasis mine)

“Secret rituals”? Then how does he know that they are accurate if he hasn’t been a participant?

So, what is your favorite DVCB? Let us know!
