Markus McDowell’s blog has now come to our attention thanks to Mark Goodacre. Dr. McDowell covers Second Temple Judaism, Philo, and early Christianity. His book looks intriguing, at least judging by the title. Prayers of Jewish Women: Studies on Patterns of Prayer in the Second Temple Period. Wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen zum Neuen Testament.
